Skyrim!!!

Dragonborn Dragonborn
by his honour is sworn
to keep evil forever at bay
and the fiercest foes rout
when they hear triumph’s shout

Dragonborn for your blessing we pray
and the scrolls have fortold
of black wings in the cold
that when brothers wage war come unfurled
Alduin bane of kings
ancient shadow unbound
with a hunger to swallow the world

Yes… I´m lost in the world of Skyrim…
Seriously.

So lost that all that I got on my mind is killing off dragons, finding treasures, riding a heavy-looking horse and
play good and bad between sides of the different kinds of impires.
Hiding in Whiterun, butching Sven trying to get his rival in love poisoned and dragon priests.
I can dig this so much.

I will not for this time give any rating on the game until I´m done with at least more than I am now.
I have only killed 5 dragons at this time and is searching for the Greybeards. That is not too far, really.

I just want to openly talk about my first impressions so far. Share ideas, ways of skills and secrets.

I remember when I saw someone play Morrowind when it was popular around the interwebz and learned about the awesome stuff you could do!
Making piles of sheep and blast them miles away with magic spells! roam over large areas and be your own master for actions or go under the imperials/rebels.
I had ofc no computer then that would be able to play a game like that…
BUT!
Then, later years… Oblivion showed up in the shelfs.
I tried it out, but got fairly dissapointed.
I got it for PS3, so I kind of get why it was not so fun as I had imagined.
On a computer, games like that is easier to MOD, thus makes a game funnier, longlasting and worth the time.
On the concole it didn´t quite work out too well.
I gave it a bit up, but got faster into fallout 3 when it got released.
A great system, funny quests, a lot of freeroam, no bunches of guards who always would shout after you:

«Stop right there criminal scum!»

or worse

Stop! You’ve violated the law! Pay the court a fine or serve you’re sentence.

I think these moments with the guards(glitching at times)was the funniest moments to find in the game.

But still I had my hopes up for a new Elder scrolls game *oooo see what I did thar!*
And my prayers were heard!

Skyrim!
The game with Morrowind, Oblivion and fallout elements pushed into one game!
The game of kings!
The game…

ACK! NO! *pushes game jokes away*

back on track *erhm cough*

Skyrim is sure a nice piece of art on the game front.
Sure I would say the BEST on the market right now, but then again…
The year ain´t over yet and there is planty of games to see as well.
But I will say the best in its genre for now.

It´s long, it´s challenging, it´s enchanting and pure awesome.

Thanks IGN for the wonderful image gallery! People! More pics from the game over there *points to IGN*

As a full-blood Norwegian. being raised in a Fjord, near a glacier… I felt like home in Skyrim.
Northeren lights/Aurora borealis, starry nights and snow being reflected of the moon… Makes me miss home a little because of this.
But the game have then made its impact on me. I personally can enjoy this game because of the enviorments and the feeling of survival.

This is from the fjord I lived in before I moved to Stavanger.

The mountains we used to tell what time on the day it was if we didn´t have a watch.

So yeah, prtty much. If you are from a area with the elements as Skyrim and you have moved away from it for a long time. Your heart will feel
a little sense of longing for it.

Skyrim itself is a huge game as well. Many different types of skills and perks!
a lot of different ways to go.
So hopefully I will get to test out more of this while I´m still into the game.
(which I prolly will be for the next year and so) X)

More about the game, I really cannot express in words and I recommend for those who haven´t gotten it yet,
if getting the chance for it, try it out. it is worth it. Tho it will take a tiny bit of putting yourself into it
to make a character with some special about them. But that is not impossible.

Everyone have perhaps seen Harry Partridge song about Skyrim and I belive this was the most posted
movie on my facebook wall during the release of skyrim 11.11.11.
I congratulate him for making this funny animation and getting it spread like
fire in a barn in a forest made out of tar.
I have appreaciated this aniamtion since it came out and now it just sounds more
epic to actually sing it and dive into skyrim. Good bye world! See you in a year!

… I mean it… See you guys! Going back into Skyrim!

uhm, yeah… bet I should perhaps give the folks behind Skyrim a great applaud for
making this come true. It is a splendid game, a bit glitchy, but forgiveable and understandable
and bet this will be in our concoles/PCs for a long time forward.
Also I hope there will be DLC/MODS for PS3, XBOX and PC to make it even longer.
As fallout did. I liked that too!

And now my teacher wants to toss me out of the classroom, cause the day is over.
So I will see you later, have fun! and remember!
